+ Do you repair both front load and top load washers in Greer?
Yes. Tyger River Appliance works on front load and top load washers, including Samsung, LG, Whirlpool, Maytag, GE and Kenmore models, at homes in Greer, Taylors, Duncan, Lyman, Wellford, Reidville and Pelham.
+ My washer is full of water and won't drain. What should I do?
Turn the washer off and unplug it. On a front loader you can check the small pump filter behind the lower front panel for a sock or coin, but have towels ready. If the filter is clear, the drain pump or hose is the likely cause, so give us a call.
+ What do Samsung UE or LG OE codes mean?
UE on a Samsung means the load is unbalanced or the washer cannot balance it, often from worn suspension. OE on an LG means a drain error, usually a clogged filter or failed drain pump. Both are common repairs.
+ Is it worth repairing my washer or should I replace it?
For most washers under about 8 to 10 years old, parts like door locks, drain pumps, belts and lid switches are well worth replacing. Failed bearings or a cracked tub on an older machine can make replacement the better choice, and we will tell you which applies.
