Dishwasher problems by symptom
Water left in the bottom. A clogged filter, a blocked drain hose or garbage disposal connection, or a failed drain pump. A new garbage disposal with the knockout plug still in place is a classic cause.
Dishes not getting clean. A clogged filter, blocked spray arms, a weak wash motor, or a failed inlet valve not letting in enough water.
Leaking. A worn door gasket, a loose hose clamp, a cracked spray arm or a failed pump seal.
Won't start. A door latch fault, child lock, control panel problem or a blown thermal fuse.

Greer water and detergent
