Front load washer problems by symptom
Door won't lock, washer won't start. A failed door lock assembly or a bent door strike. The washer will not fill or spin without a confirmed lock.
Door won't open after the cycle. Water still in the drum, a stuck lock, or a failed lock solenoid.
Water left in the drum. A clogged pump filter, a sock or coin in the pump, a kinked hose or a failed drain pump.
Leaking from the front. A torn or loose door boot gasket, a loose pump filter cap, or a detergent drawer that overflows from too much detergent.

Greer water and detergent
